The bicycle selection wizard has been created to help the casual bike enthusiast find the right bike based on their individual needs. The wizard serves two purposes:
  1. To help educate you on the types of bike models and the important features to consider before making a purchase decision
  2. To allow you to search through the hundreds of bicycle models based on the criteria you choose.

Step 1: Style Select the Style of Bicycle
The first step in the process is to select the type of bicycle you are interested in purchasing. Mazlow has arranged all of the manufacturer's bike models into 6 major categories:
  • Mountain Bike
  • City/Path Bike
  • Comfort Bike
  • Road Bike
  • BMX Bike
  • Kids Bike
A description of each of the bike types is found in the wizard.

Step 2: Features Choose the Features that Matter Most
The next step in the process is to decide on the features that matter most to you in your bicycle purchase decision. Your selection of features will affect the cost and performance of the bike you are interested in. Information is provided on each of the features to help guide you through these decisions. These selections are then used to search for the bike that is right for you.

The 5 features that you will be asked to choose from are:
  • Frame Material
  • Wheel Material
  • Brake Type
  • Tire Type
  • Suspension Type
A description of each of the features is found in the wizard.

Step 3: Compare Search and Compare Bicycle Models
Now that you have selected your search criteria, the matching bicycles are shown to you. You can sort the results by price or by manufacturer. If you want to change your results, you can refine your search by clicking on "Your Selections" to make changes.

At this point, you have the option to select up to 4 bicycles for a side-by-side comparison of features and components. The side-by-side comparison lists the MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) and each of the components for the models you have selected.

Step 4: View Bring Results to the Local Bike Shop
Once you have found a bicycle (or set of bicycles) you like, you can view the full details of that model, which includes a full description, the MSRP and the complete list of components. In addition, you can view a larger image of the bicycle and visit the manufacturer's web site for more information.

Ultimately, you will want to visit your local bike shop to view this model before buying, so we have conveniently provided a link to each manufacturer's dealer locator to help you. You can also create a printable version of your selected bike(s) to take in with you to the bike shop.
